UX/UI/Product Designer - Freelance | Austin TX, 2019 - Present

  • Perform research and analysis on existing websites, web apps, and mobile apps using a combination of design tools.

  • Work with other designers, web consultants, copywriters, and developers to implement the designs and ensure proper quality and construction.

UX Designer - Men's Gold Boxx | Austin TX, 2019

  • Project managed a group of UX designers to execute each aspect of the holistic and interactive design process, from research and ideation through product conception and validation.

  • Implemented brand, standard patterns, style guide, and other design foundations to re-design an e-commerce website for the apparel market with a focus to increase traffic, average order value, and conversion rates.

  • Improved design of Austin 3-1-1 mobile app. Completed competitive heuristic analysis, user journeys, defined user personas, produced style guide and delivered a high-fidelity interactive prototype. 

  • Facilitated a daily design studio, kept pace with the digital environment iterating designs through Lean, Agile, and other modern design processes. 

  • Designed an e-commerce website for Royal Blue Grocery using Sketch and InVision. Conducted user research, affinity diagramming, and storyboards to communicate interaction and design ideas.

  • Organized sitemaps, experience maps and architectural diagrams that align user flows and content strategies.

  • Performed usability testing and iterations on product design, sketching, wireframes, and prototyping.

User Experience/Marketing – Northshore, Greystar & The Hanover Company | Austin,  2016 – 2019

  • Managed 439 apartments in luxury high-rise in Austin and showed units to customers, explained the terms of occupancy, and prepared rental documentation.  

  • Integrated the needs of users and technology to achieve quarterly sales goals to keep occupancy above 95% and produced the highest number of sales across the leasing team in the prior 2 years.

  • Advocated and empathized with customers to get a deeper understanding of their experiences and motivations in order to find alternative solutions to solve their problems.
